Shakuhachi Lessons

The shakuhachi is the traditional Japanese bamboo flute, historically played by Zen Buddhist monks of the Fuke sect as a form of active breathing meditation (suizen).
At PMC, individual and group lessons are periodically offered to help practitioners explore the deep connection between breath, sound, and presence.
